Pillows and Socks

• Pillows and socks are made from heavy duty, white polypropylene fabric
• The fabric absorbs acid quickly, reducing uncontrolled run-off; at the same time, it is dense with minimal dusting
• Tested against the federal standard FMVSS 302, 49 CFR Ch V (10-1-03 Edition, page 761), the fabric is self-extinguishing
• The acid indicator in pillows and socks will "show" pink or red indicating the presence of battery acid
• A label sewn on each pillow and sock lists cautionary and performance information, as well as part number and date of manufacture
• Use with containment system or separately for reliable acid capture and neutralization
• Ideal to use as dam to contain acid spill or surround a leaking battery
• Each sock or pillow absorbs and neutralizes a minimum of 4 quarts (3.8 liters) of battery acid
• A granular absorbent material quickly absorbs and neutralizes a minimum of 4 quarts (3.8 liters) of battery acid (sulfuric acid, also known as battery electrolyte)
