OTC 4598-DOT4 Brake Fluid Tester - This handy electronic brake fluid tester allows you to CATCH BAD BRAKE FLUID before it destroys calipers and other brake system components. It does this by determining the quality of the brake fluid. Operates on a single 1.5 volt AAA size battery that is included.

NOTE: This unit is calibrated for DOT 4 fluid only.
Product Features

CATCH BAD BRAKE FLUID before:

  • Calipers are damaged or destroyed
  • Other brake system components are damaged or destroyed
  • Tester determines quality of brake fluid
  • Operates on a single 1.5V AAA battery (included)
Simple to Use:
  • 1) Remove cap from brake fluid reservoir
  • 2) Remove probe cap from brake fluid tester
  • 3) Press power button on top of tester
    • Green LED lights up
  • 4) Dip entire length of metal probes into brake fluid
  • 5) After one second, match color of LEDs with color chart to determine brake fluid quality
    • Tester automatically powers off after twelve seconds of inactivity
NOTE: This unit is Calibrated for DOT 4 fluid only
