The PRR-24 can pump clean or contaminated refrigerant liquid or vapor quickly and reliably without risk of damages due to slugging or running dry. The transfer system is an air driven oil-less positive displacement pump. The PRR-24, which includes a condenser/subcooler coil, will pump vapor and condense it for faster transfer.
The transfer unit can also be effectively used to charge systems with refrigerant. 40 CFM of compressed air at 100 PSI is required to operate the PRR-24 effectively. With a lower air CFM or pressure, the capacity of the unit decreases. If plant air is not available, a 15 HP air compressor can be used.
The PRR-24 does not require electric power. The condenser fan air motor is factory piped to the air regulator. The two stage standard pumping feature allows for refrigerant recovery to 25" vacuum if required. The PRR-24 is supplied with a unique patented condenser pump out system to avoid unnecessary venting of refrigerants.
