The new, easy-to-use LD-3000 QUEST Refrigerant Gas Leak Detector features a long-life, highly sensitive electrochemical sensor and is designed to detect all CFC, HFC, HFO and HCFC refrigerants, and hydrocarbon blends, these sensors provide a much more accurate response at low concentrations, even far more accurate than IR sensors. The LD-3000 features a long life solid electrolyte sensor technology that is designed to detect difficult HFC refrigerants such as R134a, R410A, R404A, R407A, and R507, in addition to the new HFO R1234yf and all HCFC (R22) and CFC (R12) refrigerants including SNAP approved hydrocarbon blends. The LD-3000 features a search mode which only responds to changes in leak concentration. The alarm will reset automatically if the sensor tip is held at the leak source eliminating nuisance alarms. The LD-3000 does not require rechargeable batteries which keeps operating costs down.
