OTC 4623 CV Joint Banding Tool and Cutter - Use to install and tighten the "band-it" or strap style clamps on CV joint boots, or on power steering rack and pinion steering gear boots.
Use to install and tighten the "band-it" or strap style clamps on:
CV joint boots
Power steering gear boots
Rack and pinion steering gear boots
Once installed into the tool
Tighten the band by turning the handle on the tool
Use a socket or wrench on the handle to torque the band to OE specifications
When the boot clamp has been tightened to specs,/li>
Cut the band to the correct length by flipping the lever (at the front of the tool) forward
