Discharge Oil Separator (J Tube Type) replaces older float style units. - Separates oil from refrigerant in the discharge gas stream. Internal turbulence causes incoming saturated refrigerant to vaporize. This is important to be sure oil droplets contained in the incoming refrigerant will drop out in the separator so they can be returned to the compressor.
