Oil Separator - Separates oil from refrigerant in the compressor discharge gas stream. Internal heat causes incoming saturated vapor to vaporize. This is important to be sure no liquid enters the compressor and that oil droplets contained in the incoming refrigerant will drop out in the separator so they can be returned to the crankcase.
